Mahjong is a tile based game developed in China. It is similar to the card game, Rummy, and to the tile game, Rummikub.

It is a game of skill, strategy, calculation and chance.

The game is played with a set of at least 136 (sometimes 144) tiles with Chinese characters and symbols.
