Cam, Dursley and District u3a welcomes new members

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

There are three types of Membership:

Individual Members: Joining as an individual member gives you access to all the Groups and Activities organised within Cam, Dursley and District U3a (CDDU3a).  It also gives you access to one (only one) Group in any other U3a organisation within the Cotswold Link organisation.  For more information on Cotswold Link use the following website link: https://cotswold-link.u3asite.uk

Cotswold Link Members:  Because of the reciprocal arrangements within the Cotswold Link organisation, if you are already a full member of another U3a organisation within the Cotswold Link, then you can participate in one (only one) Group within the CDDU3a.

Associate Members:  If you are a full individual member of another u3a organisation anywhere within the national U3a movement, you can join CDDU3a as an Associate member at a reduced price.  This gives you access to all the Groups and Activities organised within Cam, Dursley and District U3a (CDDU3a). 

MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTIONS

Our membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March.  New membership, effective immediately, will last until 31 March 2027.  Our annual membership subscription fees are:

Individual Member£12
Associate Member£8
Cotswold Link Member£0

Most Interest Groups make a small further charge at each meeting to cover venue hire etc.  You need to be a member before you can join an Interest Group to ensure you are covered for insurance purposes.  However, you are welcome to attend Interest Groups as 'taster' sessions on up to three occasions to see how you like them.  This excludes coach trips.

  • use the New Membership Form link lower down this page to download an application form.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL PROCESS

Our membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March.  Membership renewal, effective immediately, will last until 31 March 2027. 

Methods for Renewing Membership:

To renew your membership, either:

  1. Use the Members Portal ; or
  2. Log on to your bank account and make a standard electronic bank transfer to the U3A account:  Acct Name:  Cam Dursley and District U3A Acct Sort Code: 20-13-34 Acct No: 83952029 Please add your Initial and Surname as the reference, or
  3. Use the PayPal facility to make the payment to Cam Dursley and District U3a; or
  4. Download the membership renewal form below and
    • Please send or deliver to my home, cash or a cheque for the relevant amount (see above) made payable to Cam, Dursley and District u3a.
    • I will arrange for its transfer to the U3A bank account. 
    • My home address is Malcolm Taylor, 22, Whitecourt, Uley, Dursley, GL11 5TG.
