The IT Help group offer drop-in sessions and short courses which will be advertised via email.

If there are no help sessions currently offered, it may be possible to arrange a home visit by two of our Help team. Help can also be provided on an ad-hoc basis after one of our u3a monthly meetings at the Methodist Church in Dursley.

If you are requesting help, please be as specific as possible when describing your problem, including the type of computer and its operating system, e.g. Windows or Apple. If your request relates to a mobile phone or a tablet it would be helpful to know the make and version, if it relates to an application like Word or Excel for example, it would be helpful to know which version you are currently using.

  • Anti-virus
  • File management, storage and back up
  • Phone running short of memory
  • Using QR codes
  • Setting up a Zoom (or Teams) video call
  • Using phones for emails
  • Moving photos between phone and computer.
  • Car parking apps
  • Phone emergency contacts
  • Can’t connect to printer
